May 18, 2013 - 08:32 AM Ma Ma's Baking Powder Biscuits 2 1/4 cups of sifted flower 4 tp baking powder 1/2 tsp cream of tartar 1/2 tsp salt 2 T suger 1/2 cup butter 1 egg 1 cup Buttermilk Blend all dry ingredients togather. Cut butter into dy ingredients wih a fork until it resenbles cprnmeal. Pour milk,and eggs in, stirring with a fork. Knead dough on a floured surface, about 5-6 minutes. Roll out and cut, do not drop! Bake at 375% for 10-15 munties, Brush tops with melted butter and serve hot! |
