December 30, 2016 - 10:09 AM Giant Oak Trees grow big and strong and many people enjoy the shade and comfort they bring. You are like that! I was thinking about when you came to Cortland and became our protector. How you seemed to excel in sports and boxing. Trouble followed you, girls followed you and then you found Jesus and oh my what a change. Another giant appeared, one we did not know, but we knew the One who had called you. The years have come and gone and somehow we are still here. At our age, we know and sense the feeling of the closeness. But remember, run the race to finish a winner!
